
ABOUT ME
A big warm ‘Hello’ to you, and our ‘Elephants’.
This blog is about me, my family, my life, getting real, and most importantly, getting SUPER healthy. If there is an elephant in my room, I’m going to say a big “Hello!” to it, and I’m hoping this motivates you to say “Hi” to yours too.
I plan on facing my fears, set myself challenges, learning new skills, kick bad habits, get healthier and be as real as I can be. I want to live this life as full as possible and experience ALL of ‘the things’.
I have been working in the fitness industry for over 20yrs now and have learnt so much about the human body. Both physically and mentally. Training the body physically with exercise, to make it “well” or “healthy” is only the tip of the “living real and healthy” iceberg. We need to change mindsets, attitudes, and beliefs to really reap the benefits of exercise and clean eating.
Changing our lifestyle, and the food we eat, is SO important- in fact, it’s critical. However, it is easier said than done. Years of bad habits, lack of education, lack of time, lack of confidence and self-belief, and feeling that there is no support, are all elephants in our room, that we need to face, and embrace, before we can become real and healthy.
I want to share with you ways to make these changes, and show you that you are not alone. Our basic genetic coding is for us to be living together as a tight community – in caves together, or villages – not alone in a 4 walled house, isolated, and thinking we must be going mad.
This blog is for all of us to be a group, a tight community, sharing our “elephants”, embracing our “elephants”, and learning how to be real, and live a full, healthy, exciting, wonderful life!
I have so much to share with you, and I encourage you all to share with me, and the others on this site.
