MOVE! It is as simply as that.
Start moving. Move however you want & whenever you want. Just move.
Yes there are so many different types of classes, bootcamps, training styles, competitions etc to choose from…. but… they all have one thing in common. You are moving.
Our bodies are designed for survival. “Back in the wild”, on a genetic level, we built shelters, hunted for food, and roamed country sides. We know that muscles get stronger the more they get used, so, it makes sense to believe our ancestors would have gotten stronger as they aged. Unfortunately, in todays society, it seems things have flipped , and our kids can out run us and lift heavier things. We do less as we get older. We stop climbing trees, and chasing waves, and we sit down at a desk all day. That’s not what were designed to do.
Exercise should me about moving your body every single day. Yes, EVERYDAY! (unless of course you are sick – I’ll go into that later)
It doesn’t matter what exercise you do, in fact, the more you move, the more options you will find to try different movements. Its endless. It doesn’t have to be hard, complicated or costly. And…. if you’re trying to lose weight – the one thing you CAN’T do when you are moving, is eat. Fancy that…more moving.. less eating 🙂
