the signs are there if I look

Just a quick update… following my last blog…

Uni goes back in just over one week… And the thought of it has been making me feel quite scared, and at times, sick in the stomach.

It is THE most stressful time of my life…. 2 x part time jobs, full time uni, 3 kids, husband, hospital shifts, follow-through mums, and weekly assignments, all on 4hrs/night if I am lucky. Not to mention, no down time with my family or friends, and my husband having to pick up so much extra slack due to my minimal presence in this household. To say it is ‘hard’ is an understatement.

However…. I am drawn to this path…. and the universe seems to send me messages, and signs, to stay on this path, when I need it the most.

At midnight last night I sat with a woman while she birthed her beautiful baby boy. He was born en-caul (inside his amniotic sac!!). It was truly breathtaking and magical – it was such an amazing, and special, moment to be apart of  (one I will remember for quite sometime).  I am so grateful that I have been given this opportunity, to continually witness the power of our human bodies.<3

“Sometimes the right path is not the easiest”… ..I believe I AM on the right path, no, it’s not easy, but it IS amazing.

So, thank you universe, and my earth angels (that’s you, my beautiful friends), for keeping me on track. I hear your messages and I see your signs. I promise I will keep looking, and listening for them, throughout this next bit of “chaos”.

Love always

Cherlisa xoxo

Welcome to my “Living Room” where I talk about all things “Life”.

And most importantly, talk about all those “Elephant in the Room” topics. Because….those pesky little Elephants can influence the way we live our lives, so if we stop ignoring them and start embracing them (eg Say ‘Hello’ to them!) we can lessen their heaviness, change both our mental and physical health, and live this life as fully as we can. Sounds great to me! So please, take a spot on my couch and join in, while I say “Hi” to all my uncomfortable topics, share my insights, and hopefully inspire you to do the same.
